Dr. Gilo Kwesi Logan
Dr. Gilo Kwesi Logan is an author, educator, and fifth-generation Evanstonian whose work centers on identity, leadership, and intergenerational storytelling. The son of Chief William “Bill” Logan Jr. - Evanston’s first Black police chief and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s bodyguard - Dr. Logan brings community history, global experience, and lived wisdom together to inspire young people to become Dream Protectors.
Protecting a Dream is both a tribute and a movement - inviting families, schools, and communities to protect what matters most.
